Adobe’s experimental AI tool can edit entire videos using one frame - Adobe demonstrated some of the experimental AI tools it’s working on at its Max conference that provide new ways to intuitively edit photos, videos, and audio. These experiments, called “sneaks,” include tools that instantly apply any changes you make to one frame across an entire video, easily manipulate light in images, and correct mispronunciations in audio recordings.
OpenAI and Amazon ink $38B cloud computing deal - OpenAI isn’t done securing the AI infrastructure it needs to rapidly scale agentic workloads. OpenAI said it has reached a deal with Amazon to buy $38 billion in cloud computing services over the next seven years. OpenAI said it will immediately start using AWS compute, with all capacity targeted to be deployed before the end of 2026, with the ability to expand further into 2027 and beyond.
Microsoft inks $9.7B deal with Australia’s IREN for AI cloud capacity - Microsoft signed a $9.7 billion, five-year contract with Australia’s IREN to secure further AI cloud capacity. The deal will give Microsoft access to compute infrastructure built with Nvidia’s GB300 GPUs, which will be deployed over phases through 2026 at IREN’s facility in Childress, Texas, planned to support 750 megawatts of capacity.
