Fetch.ai Launches $10M Innovation Lab for AI Startups in San Francisco
Fetch.ai, a decentralized machine learning platform, has introduced its new Innovation Lab in San Francisco, designed to support early-stage startups focused on developing AI agent solutions. These AI agents are intelligent software designed to perform specific tasks or make decisions on behalf of users or systems.
$10 Million Fund to Drive AI Innovation
The Innovation Lab will offer up to $10 million annually in funding to startups that leverage Fetch.ai’s platform for building autonomous AI agents. Funding will be provided based on project milestones, with a cap of $1 million per project. The market for autonomous AI agents is anticipated to grow substantially, potentially reaching $88.1 billion by 2032.
To be eligible, startups should be in the early development stages, ranging from initial ideation to launching a minimum viable product (MVP). These companies must be legally registered in the United States and have a clear vision for scaling their business or refining their product.
Bridging the Gap Between Research and Market
“We aim to fund and support projects that bridge the gap between research and market, delivering tangible advancements that revolutionize industries through the power of AI agents,” said Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch.ai.
Additional Programs for the AI Community
In addition to the Innovation Lab, Fetch.ai is rolling out two new initiatives aimed at fostering growth within the AI community: an internship incubator and an ambassador program.
The internship program is seeking candidates with a strong interest in decentralized technologies, AI, and machine learning, particularly those proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
The ambassador program, known as the Ambassador’s Club, will focus on nurturing an innovative environment for projects at the lab. Ambassadors will organize events such as hackathons, coding nights, and workshops focused on AI agents. Applicants should have experience in community engagement, particularly within AI-focused forums, meetups, or organizations.
The launch of the Innovation Lab comes at a time when the convergence of decentralized protocols and AI technology is accelerating. Startups like Sahara AI and Story Protocol have recently secured significant funding to further their projects in this rapidly evolving space.
