Apple to Launch iPhone 16 with Generative AI at September 9 Event

Apple has officially announced the date for its next major event, where the highly anticipated iPhone 16 is expected to make its debut. The event is scheduled for Monday, September 9, at 10 am PT, and will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park. The event will also be streamed online, carrying the intriguing tagline “It’s Glowtime.”

The iPhone 16’s integration of generative AI could mark a significant shift for Apple, particularly as the company faces challenges in key markets like China. However, CFRA Research does not anticipate a substantial spike in prices, but some upward adjustments across the board are possible.

Apple's competitors, including Samsung, have already introduced generative AI features in their devices, such as Samsung’s “circle to search” functionality, which allows users to search for information on a device’s screen with a simple finger gesture.
