WHAT: Naked News auditions for new webcasters will be held Wednesday, Aug. 1, Thursday, Aug. 2 and Friday, Aug. 3 at the Elan Hotel Modern, 8435 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA. 90048 from 10 AM - 4 PM each day.

This is the first time that the Toronto-based news program with ``nothing to hide'' has held auditions outside of Canada. Naked News talent will be on hand to help judge the auditions. All auditions are by appointment only.

WHO: NakedNews.com is news done in the nude. The site's all-nude webcasters report on current events, entertainment, sports and weather news, standing up. Their bodies are not obscured behind a desk or other props. Naked News launched in December 1999, and now has over 6 million unique monthly visitors worldwide.

Naked News is free to online visitors. In February 2001, Naked News Club was launched in response to viewer demand for higher quality video streaming; membership is $9.95 per month and includes ``TV Quality'' reception among other perks.
