(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Al Gore and Joe Lieberman are about to get a fervent endorsement they probably would just as soon not have.

When adult Internet industry leaders gather in New Orleans September 22-24 for their IA2000 conference, one of the best attended sessions is likely to be the one called ``Adult Community Meeting: Vote Democratic!''

The moderator of the session will be respected First Amendment attorney Paul J. Cambria Jr., who makes no secret of his opinion that ``a Republican or other conservative President and Congress could greatly hinder the success and growth of the adult Internet industry.'' The 4,000 attendees at IA2000 are likely to support his view wholeheartedly, and based on the Gore campaign's resistance to a fund raiser scheduled for the Playboy Mansion during last month's Democratic National Convention, their endorsement will not be welcome. The Playboy event was moved to a Universal Studios site.
