Leg Mock-ups

Since I had the vacuum formed shells for the legs, and wanting to at least get a prop for photo shoots built, I decided to fill the legs with wood and cap with some fiberglass-infused plastic I had. Having not built much since leaving aerospace and moving to where I live now, I didn't have tools, space or much of a plan. Here is a shot of me sawing filler pieces of wood from an old water bed frame with my Leatherman:

Had to do a test fit. I set R2 on a small water heater and found a couple of bolts to attach the legs with. It now is more obvious than ever that I need feet for R2. Before I can make a middle foot, though, I need a skirt for it to come out of. That will be the next thing I work on.
