She has previously worked as an Associate Editor for AVN Online, a Content Editor for Adult Buzz, a reviewer for AVN Magazine, a reviewer and columnist for Playtime magazine, and a columnist for VoracityBeat.com. Darklady is also an accomplished erotica writer, with stories published in a number of popular anthologies. She has authored an adult film script, and also holds degrees in History and Anthropology.
"I have watched Ynot since 2000 and have been consistently impressed by not only the integrity, competence, warmth, and genuine friendliness of its staff but also the comprehensive and ever-growing nature of its content and outreach," said Darklady. "I am beyond delighted to finally be a member of the Ynot crew and look forward to helping it continue to grow and improve its informational and support services to the adult webmaster community, fans, and Internet population at large. I am especially pleased to see Ynot and its staff being so involved and interested in political issues that affect not only our ability to go about our business but also live our lives as citizens of a free society whose fundamental and Constitutionally guaranteed rights are protected."
In addition to writing, Darklady has acted as host of several alternative sexuality workshops and events, including the annual Portland-based Masturbate-a-Thon. She has also run for public office twice on the Libertarian ticket.
"Darklady comes with an impressive list of accomplishments in the field of adult entertainment, and I'm just delighted to work with her on making Ynot.com an even better online destination for adult industry professionals," said Connor Young, Editor-in-Chief of Ynot. "She writes thoughtful and articulate articles on the adult entertainment industry, and she truly understands the psychology behind human sexuality that drives this business. She is professional and reliable and skilled at what she does. Ynot was tremendously fortunate that Darklady was available."
