'Multimillionaire' Bride to Pose in Playboy
(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Dumped multimillionaire may see what he missed on his wedding night in the pages of Playboy. I guess money can't always buy sex.
Darva Conger, the game-show bride who married a multimillionaire on television - then wanted nothing more to do with him - may be ready to bare all for Playboy magazine for six figures, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The New York Post said Conger, who has toyed with the idea of posing nude for Playboy since she became a household name on the February FOX-TV special ``Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionaire,'' has agreed to a layout in the magazine.
A spokeswoman for Playboy refused to confirm or deny the report, saying the Post reporter took comments by a representative for the magazine ``out of context.''
``We're not confirming or denying that story,'' said Elizabeth Norris. ``Its our policy never to discuss anything until it may or may not happen.''
Norris conceded that Conger was a ``friend'' of the magazine who had attended founder Hugh Hefner's birthday party at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles and added that the 34-year-old emergency room nurse was ``certainly very beautiful.''
Conger's agent could not be reached for comment on the report.
The Post story cited an unnamed source as saying Conger would get paid ``just over six figures'' for her appearance in the magazine.
Conger married 42-year-old millionaire Rick Rockwell in front of 22 million television viewers on ``Multimillionaire,'' a ratings sensation for FOX. But the show became a national scandal after a web site revealed allegations of violence in Rockwell's past.
Conger wanted little to do with Rockwell on their honeymoon and said afterward that she would end the marriage. She was granted an annulment by a Las Vegas judge earlier this month.
