New Website Support for Escorts
by: Company Press Release
(SACRAMENTO, CA) -- EscortSupport.com, the premier community/resource site for escorts and other sex workers (male, female, straight and GLBT) made its debut on May 3rd at Will Clark's Bad Boyz Pool Party in Palm Springs. EscortSupport.com was a sponsor at the fundraising event (proceeds went to LA Shanti, an AIDS clinic).
"What's cool about EscortSupport.com is that it has something for everybody," explained Will Clark, gay male porn star, escort and promoter of the annual pool party. "There are resource sites for gay male escorts or female escorts, but none (to my knowledge) that are for everyone. The site even has info for straight male escorts-that's rare!"
The concept behind EscortSupport.com is that escorts and sex workers are People First. People with family, kids, mortgages, pets, bills, hobbies, etc. People with interests and responsibilities outside of what they Do for a living. So along with sex worker-related info like dealing with sex worker burnout, BDSM/fetish info, how to market your services effectively on-line, there is also info on parenting, financial planning, pet care, travel, fitness, and much more.
"We describe it as: Sex Worker Magazine meets Family Circle and Vanity Fair," explains Ms. Lisa, creator and publisher of EscortSupport.com. "Sex worker veterans, like Annie Sprinkle, really dig the concept and have contributed content. The support from everyone has been amazing."
The site includes an "Ask an Expert" feature where members can send in questions to a panel of experts: A doctor, lawyer, financial planner and professional escort. There's also a national and international job board and an Escort Forum. The forum is for sex workers to share info, share advice, support one another, and to make new friends and contacts.
"I think the site is very hip, and I'm honored they wanted to feature me as their first Celebrity Spotlight," said Will Clark. "And they're already on board as sponsors for my next Bad Boyz Pool Party event in SF later this year, so I think it's great Ms. Lisa and her crew are really supporting the escort and sex worker community, both through event sponsorship and by creating such an awesome site for everyone!"
Each year EscortSupport.com will select a sex worker organization to donate a portion of proceeds to. For 2003, it's St. James Infirmary in San Francisco: StJamesInfirmary.org. Although EscortSupport.com membership is Free, revenue will be generated through Advertisers and affiliates.
