UCumSeeMe.Com Releases "Universal Adult Anti-Spam Datacenter" (UAASPD)
by: Company Press Release
(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- UCumSeeMe.com Marketing, the leader in Direct Adult Traffic, today announced a strategic initiative to develop and release the "Universal Adult Anti-Spam Datacenter" (UAASPD). The UAASPD is a technological breakthrough in the adult industry and employs bleeding edge software and server technology. Several hundred adult websites and webmasters that send out massive mailings have agreed to partner with and use the UAASPD as a means to stop SPAM.
SPAM is a serious problem and as such, UCumSeeMe.com Marketing has decided to position itself as the emerging leader and take responsibility for putting an end to SPAM from the adult industry. UAASPD is an honor system that gives adult websites the ability to check each email against UAASPD before sending it to the recipient. "We are pleased to see adult companies and webmasters that promote massive email campaigns take responsibility and contribute to putting an end to SPAM in the adult industry," said Penn E. Less, CEO of UCumSeeMe.com Marketing.
"UAASPD is a "killer app" that runs on a powerful server employing open software technologies in a secure, protected environment," said Cheeba Filas, COO of UCumSeeMe.com Marketing. The typical protocol for sending out massive or bulk emails is to retrieve an email, deliver the news information and continue this process until each email recipient has received the information. The UAASPD introduces an additional step to this process. Instead of retrieving the email and then mailing the information, the mass emailer would contact UAASPD through a secure web-service to check to see if the email recipient is registered in UAASPD and if so, do not send the news information to the email recipient.
The UAASPD has several input mechanisms that will allow adult webmasters to submit either a list or individual emails to add to UAASPD. Individual "end users" are empowered with the ability to add themselves to UAASPD so they won't receive email from any adult industry related websites.
UCumSeeMe.com Marketing is very hopeful that UAASPD will help put an end to SPAM originating from the adult industry. UAASPD is planned for release in Q2 2003.
