(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Critically acclaimed and prolific director Andre Madness is well-known for creating numerous strokeable vignette titles with stylish execution, but thanks to a new series with New Sensations, he's taking that stylish execution and pushing the hardcore limits with it.
"When I walked on to the set one morning, Tyrone Shoes [New Sensations' owner and co-director] said, 'shoot a nasty D.P., but shoot it pretty'," Madness recalls. "It seems like an oxy moron, but it worked. I utilized the production value of a featurette style and mixed it with aggressive sex, and it was amazing."
The first title of the series, 2 Dicks in 1 Chick, was released on February 11th and features Daisy, Cindy Crawford, Jamie Woods and Melanie Jagger. As Madness continues to work on the series, he finds that mixing hardcore with an artistry typically reserved for features is working out exceptionally well.
"It wasn't a concept I was inclined to attempt on someone else's dime," he says. "But the more I shoot it the more I really enjoy getting creative. It's a different style for me, and it's one that I can get into. It keeps me interested and makes me look forward to shooting each week."
Jeff Mullen, Director of Marketing and Media for New Sensations, says that the company felt it was important to have someone like Madness behind 2 Dicks in 1 Chick.
"He brings a unique gonzo eye to this project," Mullen says. "He is able to capture the essence of a three-way sexual experience better than most. Shooting three people is more difficult than two, and he's able to get it all without viewers feeling that they're missing out on something."
As for Madness, he has high hopes for the series and expects each volume to get better and better.
Says Madness, "Like everything else that I shoot, I look forward to developing a signature style, and give the fans something to look forward to on the next one. The deeper I get into the series, the hotter it's going to be."
