Elegant Angel Receives Nomination by VSDA

(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- "Buttwoman Iz Bella", a movie that won "Best All-sex Video" at the AVN awards last year, has been nominated for "Best Adult Title of the Year" by the VSDA (Video Software Dealer's Association). "Buttwoman Iz Bella" is directed by Patrick Collins and stars Belladonna as Buttwoman. The other nominees in the adult category, which were announced earlier this month, include "Cap'n Mongo's Porno Playhouse" - VCA Pictures; "Euphoria" - Wicked Pictures, "Fade To Black" - Vivid Entertainment Group, and "Porno Vision" - Hustler Video.
VSDA states that "In order to recognize efforts unique to home video, the nominated categories take into account not only overall performance but particularly the marketing and promotional efforts given to titles by the studios."
Nominees are decided upon by a select committee of retailers, distributors and trade journalists, who then selected the nominees in the 18 award categories the winners will be determined by ballots which will be sent to over 10,000 regular VSDA members (retailers and distributors). The awards will take place the evening of July 18th, 2002 at Home Entertainment 2002, Presented by VSDA, at the Rio Suites Hotel & Casinos in Las Vegas.
Established in 1981, the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA) is a not-for-profit international trade association for the approximate $19 billion home entertainment industry. Membership comprises the full spectrum of video and video game retailers (both independents and large chains), as well as the home video divisions of major and independent motion picture studios, and other related businesses, which constitute and support the home video entertainment industry.
