"Sex on Wheels" could have been the theme song for this club. Walking through their doors, I was greeted by a beautiful blonde Mexican girl on roller blades, and a midget wearing a suit. This was the most interesting welcoming I have seen out of all the strip clubs I've been to.

My partner and I were seated near the outer row of seats in a booth, just below a shower. Looking around, I couldn't help but laugh at what the waiters were wearing. They were all dressed as construction workers, and everyone got around on roller blades, making for fast service!

Moments after our drinks arrived, a dancer stepped into the open shower area and was cleaned off by a customer. Not with his hands, but by the shower hose. There wasn't even a sheet of glass shielding her from us below, and somehow we didn't even feel a drop of water.

Out of nowhere, all the dancers were making their nest on the table tops. Each customer was treated to an up-close dance that was "on the house". The funny part was, I was pulled up too, and found myself bumping and grinding with a non-english speaking dancer. They asked if I wanted to dance on their main stage, so after a few drinks I agreed and made my way to the DJ booth to choose a song. When I heard my beat, I pranced my way to the stage, and did two songs (topless - no nudity) the dancers and customers enjoyed seeing a customer on stage, as they always do in Mexico, and after 8 short minutes I was covered in sweat, and looking for my pants.

Out of the 20 or so dancers on staff, about three to five were great dancers. The main gimmick at Tabares seemed to be what they offered behind closed doors. It was our second visit to Tabares, when we gathered a true sense of the Acapulco exotic dance scene. The employees were now dressed as though they were from Egypt, and on roller blades, they waited on us hand and foot.

My partner and I decided to try a private dance, separately. The cost was typical at $20.00 USD each song. When my dancer walked me to the back room, I saw the ladies giving oral sex. Even though the services being offered didn't completely shock me, I wondered if the dancers worried about their safety. I am thank full that the industry back at home (mainly Toronto, Canada) is going to ban lap dancing. My dancer tried to do more then just dance for me, but I had her keep it clean. Just as our song was ending, my partner was brought in and laid down beside me by the dancer of his choice. I am sure he felt the same way as me and asked for a PG-rated dance (not XXX).

The exotic dancers at Tabares were very friendly and did their best to speak english. We learned, that for an extra $100.00 (price varied) you could take the dancer out. We did this a few times, and went to several night clubs like "Andromedas", "Palladium", and "Enigma", purely just for fun and dancing, nothing more.

If you have the opportunity to visit Acapulco, find your way to Tabares! There are also the clubs, Chicas and Foxy's, but I rated them second to the comedic service at Tabares!
