AVN Names Top New Starlets, Directors and Series in Adult Videos

(CHATSWORTH, CA) -- Adult Video News, the adult industry authority, has chosen 15 up and coming performers, directors and series it predicts will make a major splash over the next year. They include a one-time Australian senate candidate and a former "Baywatch" actress.
The editors of AVN selected five starlets they say retailers can take to the bank. Featured in the cover article in the June issue of the magazine are:
- Jody Moore, an Australian who once ran for a Senate seat in her native country. "My hometown had two crooks that were elected and that's what made me go for it," she told AVN.'
- Savanna Samson, a classically-trained ballet dancer who says she was raised as a "good Catholic girl and I always have so much guilt." her attitude on life as changed now, however, and she says, "I'm still a good Catholic girl, but everything is okay. When you let go, it feels great. Let go of all these things that hold you back in your life."
- Chloe Jones, a former nude model and television actress who had mainstream appearances on "Baywatch," "Diagnosis Murder" and "Full Frontal Comedy." "There's only so many magazines you can do," she told AVN when asked why she became an adult film actress.
- Hannah Harper a 19-year old English girl with "A charm and innocence that is warm and sweet, but is disarmingly seductive." Harper, says AVN, is "A kitten with claws."
- Tawny Roberts, a long-legged blonde with "fresh-faced farm-girl good looks that make her stand out from your garden-variety porn star." in what most likely defines the ultimate quality that makes a good adult actress, Roberts says, "I like being on camera and having sex on camera. It all excites me."
In addition to the actresses, AVN says to watch for performances by Nick Manning, a "tall, dark and handsome" former fashion supermodel and athlete who is also an adult actor and boss of his own production studio.
Directors to take note of include Skye Blue, a veteran adult video performer and one-time stripper who is now directing hardcore videos, including the well-received "Perfect Pink 9" for Jill Kelly Productions; David Luger, a director who "likes his sex gritty;" Toni Ribas, a Spanish born 27-year-old who has performed in about 500 videos since starting his career at 18 and has now begin directing in the U.S. And Michael Stefano, also a former performer who has a reputation for edgy productions that he describes as "seedy but erotic" gonzo and wall-to-wall sex material.
The top new series AVN tells retailers to take note of are Evil Angel's "Ass Worship," Celestial Productions' "Fast Times at Deep Crack High," Hustler Video's "Precious Pink," Third World Media's "Pretty Little Latinas" and RedBoard Video's "Real Lesbian, Real Bondage."
