(VAN NUYS, CA) -- Vivid Interactive has sent a mass email to their retailing customers, assuring them that the content of their products fall within acceptable community standards.
In the email, Vivid Interactive reprints an AVN.com article from early April regarding Legend Video's decision not to distribute J.M. Productions' American Bukkake and Gag Factor series. The post that followed assured retailers who were concerned over the content of Vivid's products that their videos and DVDs contain no degradation, fisting or peeing, and were reviewed by First Amendment attorney Paul Cambria.
Robbie Conley, spokesman for Vivid Interactive, told AVN.com the concerns had been raised by retailers. "I don't know the exact number of people who had called, but it was enough to warrant them asking us to send out an email out to our customers saying that we did talk to our lawyers."
Conley adds that retailers from across the nation had called the company. "We just wanted to reassure [our customers] that we do everything that we can to make sure they'll be safe to carry our product in their store."
