Res Ipsa Gallery and the Center for Sex and Culture proudly present two events on the afternoon of Sunday, February 17 – both relating to Nick Weber’s Broadband, which is on view in the gallery. Broadband is a series of oil paintings inspired by still images that Weber selects from internet porn videos.

Panel – Putting a Frame on Shame: Exploring Sexual Content in Fine Art: February 17, 2pm. Featuring artist Nick Weber, sexologist Carol Queen, and sex and relationship expert Reid Mihalko. Join us for a thoughtful, revealing and funny conversation about how sex is and isn’t depicted in art – and why. Free. Workshop: February 17, 3pm-5pm. Negotiating Successful Threesomes, presented jointly by Reid Mihalko and Carol Queen. This is a modified version of a signature Mihalko workshop.

Even if you would never be interested in a 3-way, this fun-filled and non-threatening class will give you lots of ways to talk to your loved ones about the things you do want in the bedroom – no matter how tame or outrageous! Tickets $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Buy tickets here: Both events at: 455 17th Street, 3rd Floor, Oakland. ResIpsaGallery.com
