In perhaps a growing trend of mainstream pornstar acceptance, on Monday night comedian Jon Stewart gave a shout out to adult superstar Vicky Vette during his hugely popular ''The Daily Show'' on Comedy Central. Stewart has been nominated for 16 Emmy Awards, hosted the 78th and 80th Academy Awards and named the "Most Influential Man of 2010" by Askmen.com. Guests on his show have included Presidents Barrack Obama and Bill Clinton. He has also had over 20 Senators and countless top Hollywood actors as guests.

Vette's mention came in a monologue being delivered on Monday by Stewart to "God". The subject somehow turned to masturbation and Stewart admits that he masturbated to Olivia Newton John, Abba album covers… and Vicky Vette. Vette's shout-out on the Daily Show comes on the heels of Norway's biggest mainstream newspaper naming her the #1 Followed Norwegian in the World and "Norway's Twitter Queen" (story here and video here). Vette also is celebrating two nominations by XBIZ for Webstar of the Year and Best Performer Website.
