(LAS VEGAS, NV) -- Adam & Eve and skinworXXX director Joshua started out his career swinging for the fences, with his second movie, Deviance, winning AVN’s Best High-End All-Sex release and CAVR’s DVD of the Year Award. This year, with no Deviance sequel due until 2012, director Joshua released Forbidden and Harder, the latter being the comeback vehicle for legendary Inari Vachs. Now that both AVN and XBIZ nominations have been released, skinworXXX scored best picture nominations for Harder for AVN (all-sex) and with Forbidden at XBIZ (all-sex). However, for the first time ever, director Joshua got his first individual nomination for Best Director (Non-Feature).
"Wow. My jaw is on the floor. I’m starting my fifth year in the adult business this January, and in the past four years, I’ve made six big movies." Joshua explains, "All six of my movies have received Best in nominations for best movie in their respective categories, and Deviance won the big prize at AVN and CAVR. But, it has been an uphill business for me getting recognition since I was a plus one or a significant other to most people in adult, and finally I feel like maybe I can leave my suitcase behind and start focusing on directing the movies that fans really seems to have loved in the past four years. I really want to thank AVN and XBIZ both personally from me and everyone at skinworXXX and Adam & Eve."
Besides the Best All-Sex and Best Director nominations for Harder at AVN, the movie also received Best Double Penetration scene for Inari Vachs, Tommy Gunn and Jack Vegas.
The AVN Awards will be held this January 21 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and will be hosted by Deviance star Sunny Leone and Sun Goddess star Bree Olson.
