Chris Crocker Makes a Porno

(WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA) -- It’s a rumor that has gained momentum like a rocket shooting through mainstream news and tabloid sites for the past two months… and at last it is becoming a reality: Chris Crocker is making a porno with Chi Chi LaRue.
A 23 year old force to be reckoned with made famous by personal video diaries and sketch comedy videos via YouTube.com/ItsChrisCrocker, Chris Crocker already had a growing fan base when his "Leave Britney Alone" video went viral in 2007 making him an international web phenomenon.
Since then, Chris Crocker has toured the talk show circuit, starred in commercials and launched a successful music career as an independent recording artist, his Ep "The First Bite" now available on iTunes. He’s also entirely reinvented himself as a stud, losing the blonde locks for a crew cut with muscles to boot.
With a burgeoning music career and having starred in a pilot earlier this year for NBC, one wonder why Chris Crocker has chosen now to make an adult movie. "I’ve already exposed every other part of myself on camera, haven’t I?" asks Crocker. "Having sex on camera with a stranger is actually a lot less revealing than many of the things I’ve posted on YouTube. The real question for me is: What is porn? Is it a lewd and lascivious exposure of yourself? Because I’ve done that clothed."
Chi Chi LaRue echoes his statements and says she hopes the movie will explore these themes and leave the audience asking themselves the same question. "I’m a big Chris Crocker fan," says LaRue. "As a DJ, I play his music a lot and I love his videos where he tells it like it is. I want this movie to leave people asking themselves about the very nature of pornography and I want it to incorporate everything that Chris Crocker is: The video diary entries, the music, the artist, the freak!"
Crocker says its that exact reason why he’s agreed to do this project with LaRue. "We’re both freaks of nature," he laughs. "She knows I’m not just doing this to make a buck. It’s just an addition to my artistry and she gets my vision."
Chris Crocker is represented by Jason Sechrest’s gay adult management company DV8 Casting, who negotiated the deal between he and C1R, rumored to be one of the biggest in the history of gay adult cinema.
The yet to be titled movie is set to be filmed in November 2011.
