(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) -- As if to combat Rapture fears in porn and sex-centric Los Angeles, underground sex party architect and connoisseur Dixie De La Tour will be bringing her highly successful San Francisco storytelling event, "Bawdy Storytelling," to the sexy Southern California city on Saturday, June 4.
"East Coasters are jealous of more than just our weather: Californians are hot, smart, and dirty — the fucking Trifecta!" said De La Tour. "But what happens when you tire of yet another beautiful day and your job at the non-profit… do you delve into the underworld of Casual Encounters? Come hear the stories of some of California’s all-star perverts, share some stories of your own, and experience the show that’s taken San Francisco by storm!"
The San Francisco shows have been met with a flurry of five-star reviews on the social review network Yelp.com. "I don't think I've laughed or clapped as hard or as often at any other event," wrote 29-year-old J. V. Of San Francisco. "Some of the naughty stories will make you howl with laughter, some will arouse you and other might bring tears to your eyes. You never know what is going to happen. The Los Angeles premier of "Bawdy Storytelling," aptly subtitled "CaliFornicatin’," will feature the likes of porn star, author and educator Nina Hartley, educator/activist Dr Carol Queen, sex geek extraordinaire Reid Mihalko, voice actor and seven-time Story Slam winner Bill Ratner, "transgendered superhero and union iron worker" Morgan and tantra coach/sacred sex author Kamala Devi. Music for the event will be provided by Tacos on Prom Night, Alicyn Packard and DJ Timmii.
"Bawdy Storytelling features real people sharing their bona fide sexual exploits in 10 minutes or less — no scripts, no nets and no holds barred," says De La Tour. "Think of it as one night stand with the Moth & Savage Love. You’ll hear tales of carnal wins, epic fails and maybe even go home with a few new tricks for your boudoir arsenal."
