Venus proudly presents its new B2B concept - ''Venus Professional Trade Convention'' – the section dedicated to professional visitors, now with a separate entrance in Pavilion 11
(BERLIN, GERMANY) -- Venus, the international adult entertainment trade show, has just publicized its new and innovative concept for the trade area, i.e. The section dedicated to professional visitors, which will be known as Venus Professional trade convention as of this year.
The location will be equally new: effective immediately, the estimated 5,500 professional visitors will get access to the novelties of the international adult entertainment industry in Pavilion 11 via a separate entrance.
Additionally, this pavilion will be open exclusively to professionals, and only on three days: Thursday to Saturday. Exhibitors stand to profit from the low-key businesslike atmosphere and the ready-to-use stands available in a variety of sizes. The other Areas of Venus will remain unchanged: Business Area, Messe Area (trade show area), Web Area, Show Area and Fetish Area.
Venus will take place during October 21-24, 2010, underneath the Berlin radio tower, and will continue into its 14th year. During these past years, it has developed into the world’s biggest and most important trade show of the adult entertainment industry. It attracts more than 400 exhibitors and 5,500 professional visitors to Berlin every year. ''During these past 13 years, Venus has successfully turned Berlin into an attractive trade show location drawing exhibitors from more than 36 countries and professional buyers from 60 countries across the world (40% from Germany; 45% from Europe; 15% from overseas)'', trade show manager Peter Bübel explains. In addition to the above, there will be even more innovations this year: The Business meets Media dinner banquet on Friday, new partner hotels, and the Venus Congress designed to promote the intense use of information exchange.
Thursday night, October 21, 2010, will mark the return of the Venus Award, one of the most prestigious and internationally sought-after awards of the adult entertainment industry. This event with its classy accompanying program will be all about the personalities, stars and starlets of the industry.
Nonetheless, Venus will stay fundamentally true to its concept of a mix of B2B and end consumers: ''Because it’s the only concept that makes sense'', Buebel confirms. ''There is not just black or white, i.e. pure B2B or pure B2C. We put our best foot forward with this balancing act every year, and the success of the years past has proved us right. Our next project will be to establish a trade show advisory board to assist us in planning the future development of Venus.'' but apart from all the business, it’s important not to neglect pleasure.
