Stoney Curtis inducted to Hall of Fame and his Studio Lethal Hardcore Receives 9 AVN Noms
A chance meeting with Peter North in 1991 lead to Stoney's prosperous Adult Entertainment career, the youngest of eleven children from a working class Chicago family, Stoney moved to California after completing college to work as an engineer. As Peter and Stoney's friendship grew, he saw Stoney's love for the business, as well as his extensive camera skills from shooting music videos. Stoney entered the business with his first video for Russ Hampshire at VCA in 1993, ''Secret of her Suckcess'' under the alias Bryan ''Cheeks'' Williams. Shortly thereafter he began shooting gonzo style for Pleasure Productions, Metro and Elegant Angel.
In 1998, he changed his name to Stoney Curtis and started his own company, Celestial productions, with a line called ''Hot Bods and Tailpipes'' through Seymore Butts distribution. It was a huge success and from 2000 on he started to distribute his own product and created memorable lines such as ''Fast times at Deep Crack High'' and ''Beverly Hills 9021-Ho''
In 2004 he started his flagship company Lethal Hardcore video which releases 4 high quality hand crafted DVDs per month. In total he has shot and produced about 550 adult videos over a 17 year career. AVN has recently announced Stoney's induction to the Hall of Fame and has nominated Lethal Hardcore for the following AVN awards:
