(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Stockroom.com, the original online fetish store and one of the first online retailers of any kind, will continue its 20th anniversary year celebration with a major appearance at the International Mr. Leather (IML) expo at the Hilton Chicago May 21-25. Stockroom.com has secured six booths (#2119-2121-2123-2015-2017-2019) at the IML Leather Market that occupy one end of the Southwest Hall at the Hilton.
The company will unveil the 20th anniversary edition of Stockroom.com’s all-male print catalog, always a much-anticipated event in the gay fetish world. The catalog features highlights from the Stockroom’s men’s retail site, www.MaleStockroom.com.
Stockroom will also debut a number of new products at the IML Leather Market, including the new wipe-clean Pig Sling; the unique Ballz Gag that locks a man’s scrotum in his partner’s mouth; and a variety of new fashion styles directed at realizing fantasies popular with leather and latex enthusiasts. These new items are not yet available online, so this exclusive preview is only being offered to IML attendees.
Raging Stallion stars Steve Cruz and Bruno Bond will sign copies of the just- off-the-press anniversary catalog – in which they are featured models – at the Stockroom.com booth on Friday from 12pm to 4pm, Saturday from 11am-1:30pm and Sunday from 12 noon to 3pm. Bond and Cruz, the Naked Sword Man of the Year for 2009, did a two-day photo shoot for the catalog with famed fetish photographer and Stockroom.com art director Steve Diet Goedde at the popular leather bar the Eagle LA. Other adult stars appearing in the catalog include Arpad Miklos and Charles Dera.
The latest signature bondage gear from Stockroom.com will be on display, along with latex fetish wear for men from Syren. Jeff of L.a., the head designer for the internationally famous latex fashion company, will be at the Stockroom.com booth throughout the show. Syren has earned a reputation for its high quality, well-tailored men’s wear and will premier several new designs at the show.
Some of the designs explore popular masculine fetish fantasies, such as uniform and military shirts, hats and pants or latex ''bleachers'' – a hand-painted version of the bleach-spotted denim favored by skinheads – while other styles, like open- backed rubber aprons, cat-suits with zip-open crotches, leggings with detachable codpieces, and a new latex wrestling singlet with chaps-style open legs, are designed to be ''playable,'' allowing the wearer to fully indulge in his fantasies without getting undressed.
New Stockroom.com products that IML attendees will get to preview and purchase before they’re released for online sales to the general public will include:
- the Pig Sling: this easily sanitized synthetic version of the classic leather sex sling lets the user be the filthiest pig imaginable yet clean up easily afterwards. Available in a choice of color-striped trims that allow users to flag for their preferences: red for fisting, yellow for water sports, or black for bondage.
- the Ballz Gag: A creation of master fetish gear mogul Joel Tucker, founder and chairman of Stockroom.com. The device uses a sturdy leather ball-stretcher to pull the wearer’s scrotum away from his body, then locks his testicles in his partner’s mouth with a leather strap that fastens around the back of the wearer’s head with a lockable buckle.
