(LOS ANGELES, CA) -- Chemistry, Volume 3, the third volume in director Tristan Taormino's award-winning series for Vivid Entertainment, has been selected to screen at the 2009 CineKink Film Festival in New York City. CineKink, which is billed as ''the really alternative film festival,'' was founded in 2003 to recognize and encourage the positive depictions of sexuality and kink in film and television.

CineKink runs from February 24 to March 1 at the Anthology Film Archives, and an excerpt of Chemistry 3 will be shown on Saturday, February 28 at 11:10 PM. The screening is part of a special event titled ''Bring it!'' which features ''a dazzling array of talent from today's adult cinema, working in a wide range of genres and visual styles, step up with a hot sampling of their recent creative endeavors,'' according to the program.

''I'm a big fan of CineKink and think it's an amazing festival,'' says Chemistry creator and director Tristan Taormino. ''I'm thrilled that Chemistry 3 has been selected to be part of this year's line up. The organizers selected one of Roxy DeVille's scenes in the film which is among my favorites because it's real, raw, and smokin' hot!'' More information is available at http://www.cinekink.com.

The first volume of Chemistry, which won several awards including the 2007 AVN Award for Best Gonzo release, will be shown as part of 10th Annual Red Dawns Feminist and Queer Festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia from March 5-8, 2009. The Red Dawns Festival features exhibitions, performance art, film screenings, workshops, and concerts.

Chemistry was one of three films chosen by festival organizers to be screened, and a discussion of feminist, alternative, and queer porn will follow the films. ''when the festival's producers contacted me, I was overjoyed,'' says Taormino. ''it's incredibly groundbreaking for such a festival to exist in Slovenia, and I am so honored to have my movie be a part of it.'' Information about the festival is available in English on their website at http://www.kudmreza.org/rdece/index_eng.html.
