(VENICE, CA) -- Rising Star PR to Take Publicity to Next Level. Industry Veterans Team Up to Help Promote Talent. Industry veterans Devan Cypher and Acme Andersson announced today that they are joining forces in a new public relations effort aimed at promoting adult industry talent.
Andersson has signed on with Cypher’s public relations company, Rising Star PR. Together they have created a series of affordable packages custom tailored to fit the tough economic times being felt industry-wide.
''Whether a girl is has been in the industry six minutes or six years, we have a reasonable plan to get them the attention they need to help boost their career during these tough times,'' explained publicist, journalist and award-winning director Cypher.
''The question is not whether you can afford to promote yourself, but how can you afford not to?'' Andersson added. ''It's a competitive industry not just for the producers and agents, but also for the talent. It’s important that they keep their names and faces out there in order to maximize their potential.''
Cypher and Andersson both understand that the economy has hit all aspects of the industry hard and that it is imperative that talent brand themselves in order to gain the greatest exposure and best roles available.
''With piracy up and the worst economy in my lifetime, people are in desperate need of relief,'' Rising Star founder Cypher said. ''Now more than ever girls need to stand out if they are going to get noticed and survive in this industry.''
The duo’s mission is to promote their clients to both the industry trades and consumer publications. They will provide rates that are reasonable while offering clients realistic expectations.
''We can’t promise a girl she’ll be on the Howard Stern Show next week,'' Andersson said, ''But we can help them brand themselves so that these opportunities are attainable. If a performer has what it takes, we can help them maximize their potential.''
Andersson and Cypher have each spent more than 10 years in the industry, writing for the industry’s premier publications and promoting many of adult’s biggest companies and stars. Andersson has worked as an editor at Celebrity Skin, Hawk and AVN and writes regularly for XBIZ, Club, Cheri, High Society, Finally Legal and several other publications. Cypher’s work has appeared in XBIZ, AVN, Hustler, Club, High Society, Oui, Velvet, and online for Fleshbot, Fluffersmut, Hardcoregossip, and others.
