Eldorado Collects Food for Charity

(BROOMFIELD, CO) --Eldorado Raises Over 4,000 Pounds of Food for Charity. Eldorado Trading Company’s 2008 campaign to collect food for the Food Bank for Boulder and Broomfield Counties’ Community Food Share program has helped make a difference in the lives of some of the 40,000 Boulder and Broomfield residents who live in poverty.
In one month, Eldorado was able to raise 4,088.35 lbs of food for the Boulder and Broomfield Counties Community Food Share. And every pound of food collected equals one whole meal for a hungry person or family.
Larry Garland, owner and CEO of Eldorado said, ''Everybody here at Eldorado was excited to participate and we were happy to be able to collect so much food. Helping each other out when times are tough is what being part of a community is all about.''
