(NEW YORK, NY) -- Save the date: Tuesday, March 20th, 2007 - Afrodite Exposed: Sexual Empowerment in an Adult Hip Hop Film. The New School for Social Research, in conjunction with Terry Williams as part of his Sex in the City series, invites you to a preview screening of "Afrodite Superstar". Post-screening Q&A discussion with the creators of the film including Candida Royalle and producer & director Natasha Cortes and Venus Hottentot.
Afrodite Superstar is a seductive, romantic comedy about Afrodite, a naive debutant who makes a secret Clark Kent style transformation into a sexy rapper. The film was made as a tool for the empowerment of women of color.
Afrodite Superstar provides fresh and unexpected erotic content with a meaningful story that is aimed at tastefully serving the erotic needs of women of color. This is the first ethnically diverse feature to come out under Femme Chocolat, a new division of Candida Royalle’s internationally acclaimed Femme Productions.
While Royalle is known for having pioneered the concept of female-sensitive adult movies for couples, it is with Femme Chocolat that she seeks to address the much neglected audience of ethnically diverse couples.
