Myles' Weekend Adventures: Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. Once again, I can not remember whatever I might have been planning to open this column with. So, since I can't think of anything better to do, let us go straight to the discussion of beautiful women, posthaste.
Thursday evening, November 30Th, I went to the downtown Spearmint Rhino to observe Lisa Ann's first show of the evening and to say hello.
I have written about Lisa Ann before, as I have all of the ladies in this week's column, so let us see whether or not I really do know how to keep short stories long.
While Lisa Ann is a veteran performer, she is still young and beautiful. She is also quite intelligent, well spoken, very friendly, and she truly enjoys meeting her fans.
Lisa Ann performs very well on stage. Just to let everybody know what a trooper Lisa Ann is, on this night, as she was making a move and reaching for one of the poles, something went wrong. It appeared as if her hand slipped off the pole, but Lisa Ann later said something about stepping on a slick spot. Whichever, she lost her balance and fell to the floor. Being the performer she is, Lisa Ann bounced off the floor as if it had been planned, laughed and continued to dance!
Lisa Ann's costumes are always sexy and usually colorful, her musical selection is always good, and her interaction with the tip rail customers is always quite good.
I highly recommend that nobody ever pass up an opportunity to go to a club to see Lisa Ann perform and to meet her in person. She will not disappoint.
I have never been able to locate a website for Lisa Ann, but I'm certain many good pictures of her can be found simply by searching for her name on the Internet.
After saying good night to Lisa Ann, I ran around the corner a few blocks to the downtown Los Angeles Rouge Gentlemen's Club to spend the rest of the evening with Gia Paloma and to observe two of her shows.
Gia's interaction with the tip rail patrons during the first show I saw was somewhat lacking, because four house dancers kept on calling Gia over to them and hogging up much of her time. What could the lady do? These four house girls were literally showering Gia with money. Hey, a girl has to make a living!
During the second show I saw, Gia's interaction with randomly selected tip rail dwellers was much better. The four house dancers were at the rail hogging Gia's time on stage, fortunately.
For a newcomer to feature dancing, Gia does an excellent job. Her music is good and appropriate, her costumes, while tending to be a bit on the simple side, are always quite sexy looking. Also, Gia tends to get just a bit wild on stage.
Gia is very friendly and can be somewhat flirtatious. Also, Gia is always jovial with her fans. (When I said something to Gia about how my readers were more than likely getting tired of statements such as, "Enjoys meeting her fans," she came up with the jovial idea and said she was giving it to me for free. Hey, I rarely turn down a freebie, especially from a hottie like Gia Paloma!)
Anybody who gets a chance to go to a club to see Gia Paloma perform and to meet her in person should not allow the opportunity to slip past them.

Friday afternoon, December 1st, I drove up to the Van Nuys Spearmint Rhino to observe Tory Lane's matinee show, say hello, and to partake of the free lunch, of course. (No, Tory wasn't on the menu, unfortunately. [Cue the long, sad, face.])
When I mentioned to Tory that my next stop was to see Shy Love's matinee show at the City of Industry Spearmint Rhino, Tory told me a story. It seems that a fan of both Shy and Tory had see one of Shy's shows Thursday evening. While speaking with Shy, the fan mentioned that he was headed for Van Nuys to see Tory. Shy then autographed an 8X10 and asked the fan to deliver it to Tory. So, Tory autographed one of her 8X10's to Shy and asked me to deliver it, which I did. Coincidentally, while speaking with Shy later in the afternoon, she introduced me to the very fan who deliver her 8X10 to Tory the night before.
For her Matinee show, Tory performed her hula girl show. Her costume for this show consisted of a bikini bottom, a grass skirt, a lot of artificial flower leis around her neck, and nothing else.
After her show, I suggested to Tory that she might try starting that show to some Hawaiian music and maybe do a sort of hula dance onto the stage. She told me that she had originally wanted to do exactly that, but that she had been unable to find any Hawaiian music. She said that she had even thought of using some type of Caribbean music, but that she hadn't been able to find anything that she thought would work.
I have a couple of Hawaiian music albums. I just have to figure out how to get them onto a CD, after which, I will give the CD to Tory.
Tory performs well on stage, and her interaction with the tip rail squatters is very good.
Also, Tory is smart, friendly, well spoken, has a good sense of humor, and she enjoys meeting her fans. (There I go again.)
Tory Lane is well worth the drive to a nearby, or not so nearby, club to see her perform and to meet her in person. I would suggest that nobody ever pass up an opportunity to see and meet Tory.

After bidding Tory a fond adieu, I fought the traffic back to the City of Industry Spearmint Rhino to say hello to, and observe the matinee show of, Shy Love.
Unfortunately, the traffic was so bad this afternoon, it took me a little over two hours to make the drive. Because of this, I walked into the club just in time for Shy to smile and wave to me as she was removing her sexy, nude, body from the stage and heading back to the dressing room. Shy did come out onto the floor for a signing, so Shy, her roadie, and I were at least able to chat for a while.
I can say from past experience that Shy is a very good performer. Her costumes are always very sexy, her music is always good, and her interaction with the customers is always very good.
Shy is very friendly, has a great sense of humor, and she is an excellent conversationalist. And, she likes nothing better than meeting her fans.
Nobody should ever miss out on a chance to see Shy perform and to meet her in person. She will not disappoint.

Friday night, I drove out to the Rialto Spearmint Rhino to say hello to Nyomi Marcela and to observe one of her shows.
Since I have reviewed Nyomi a few times this year, I'm not going to have too much to say at this time.
I'll simply say the Nyomi performs well, wears cute to sexy costumes, and dances to good music.
Nyomi is a good looking, friendly, well spoken young woman with a good sense of humor. And yes, she enjoys meeting her fans.
Everybody should get out to a club to see Nyomi perform and to meet her in person the very next chance they get.

Saturday night, December 2ND, I drove up to the Van Nuys Rouge Gentlemen's Club to see Jersey and to spend a little time chatting with her. For various reasons, I missed her first show and signing of the evening much to my dismay. I had fully intended to catch both of Jersey's shows.
Unfortunately, this was her last booking as the 2006 Spearmint Rhino Entertainer of the Year. And, she told me that she has decided not to pursue a career as a full time feature dancer. In fact, she told me that she intents to stop dancing completely. While she didn't tell me what it was, she is working on something that will take her life and her livelihood in completely new directions. Thank goodness I will still have a couple of ways of staying in touch with her though the Internet. (I miss her already. Why? I've known Jersey for at least three years now, and I consider her to be a good friend.)
It is too bad that Jersey doesn't plan to pursue a career as a touring feature dancer. During her time as a house dancer, she has paid close attention to the feature dancers she has seen and has learned a lot from watching them. And, it has shown in her performances as the 2006 EOTY. Jersey put together some costumes that were worthy of any established feature dancer, she performed very well on stage, and she played very well with the tip rail customers. Even as a house dancer, before winning the 2006 EOTY contest, Jersey was several cuts above the average house dancer. As long as I have known Jersey, she performed on stage more like a feature than as a run-of-the-mill house dancer.
Farewell Jersey the dancer, and good luck in whatever path you chose to travel in the future.
Okay, that will be it until the next time. Everybody stay safe and enjoy life.
Bonsoir et au revoir,
