Summer has endured a lengthy battle with cancer and all of the treatments and medications have taken their toll on her 42 year old body, as a result, she has decided to have some procedures to improve her look and health.
Multi AVN award winning director and producer Mike South has been brought in to produce and direct this undertaking. Summer Haze has this to say abut Mike: "Mike is the best man for this job and he will be producing this documentary which will be broadcast on national Television. Mike has a reputation for brutal honesty and that is what I think this story needs."
Mike has enlisted the help of 17 time Telly Award winning Television director Aaron Wells. Aaron is one of the best High definition shooters alive and his expertise and mainstream television experience will be crucial to the success of this documentary.
Everyone from the Doctor to the anesthesiologist have agreed to talk frankly with us before during and after the surgery. This will not be an episode of "Nip Tuck" where the surgery is not real, this will be the real deal, with real doctors and a real patient. We intend to take the viewer through the process from start to finish, no matter what happens.
The doctor is one of the most respected cosmetic surgeons in South Florida. Apart from breast augmentation 12 years ago, she has never undergone any form of cosmetic surgery.
Summer has agreed to allow cameras follow her around before, during and after her cosmetic surgery. The work being performed includes Full Body Liposuction to offset her weight gain from the cancer medications, upper and lower eyes, a mini-lift, a brow lift, and fat injections. Summer is not shy or ashamed of any of the work being done and in fact wants the story told, hence why she has chosen to have the procedures documented.
Summer hopes to be an inspiration to others who have undergone chemotherapy.
She has received much love and support from her friends including Nina Hartley, Evan Seinfeld, Victoria Givens have all sent encouraging messages and best wishes.
Mike has expressed his concerns about her procedures and hopes that all will end up well. Summer is a strong woman who has survived many ups and downs in life, with her health and in this business and she is more than ready to take this on. The cameras will follow her every move including after the surgery until she unveils her new look at the Exotic Dancer Expo on August 21st in Las Vegas. Sunny Lane, Ron Jeremy, and Elektra are a few of the many friends that have offered to fly in to help her during her recovery.
