'Pleasure' to Grow Distribution on Time Warner Cable Systems

(BOULDER, CO) -- New Frontier Media, Inc. announced that Time Warner (NYSE: TWX - news) has signed a corporate carriage agreement for Pleasure, a 24-hour, pay-per-view adult entertainment network that features the most edited standard in the adult category. Pleasure initially launched on Time Warner Cable's West Valley, Canyon Country and South Pasadena, Calif. systems on June 1, 1999.
Pleasure offers cable and satellite companies a new choice for adult programming that incorporates the fully edited adult standard with the best business plan in the industry. Pleasure's programming focuses on story-driven, film-based, high-quality productions. The Network offers 60 titles per month, including 20+ World Premiere movies each month, with unduplicated air times.
New Frontier Media, Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer Mark Kreloff explained that, ``The Company's aggressive business plan for revenue sharing speaks for itself. In the six months since Pleasure's launch, we've clearly demonstrated that the most-edited adult programming category can be a revenue leader.''
Ken Boenish, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, added that, ``Pleasure has received a warm reception from Time Warner system managers. Indeed, we have already been given several verbal commitments to launch Pleasure and we look forward to the opportunity to add the service in other Time Warner markets.''
Pleasure currently reaches more than 3.3 million cable and satellite homes nationwide.
